Barrie received her BA and JD degrees from Stanford University and Stanford University Law School, respectively.
Having worked as a security analyst in the late l960’s for the Madison Fund, a closed-end mutual fund in New York City, she thereafter practiced law in California until the mid-1980’s.
Barrie serves as the administrative partner and compliance officer of Zesiger Capital Group and is active in the due diligence and oversight of private investments. She serves on the Board of Directors of Cambric Corp. and Hayes Medical, Inc. Barrie is also a board member of Asphalt Green, a non-profit corporation in New York City, and at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, she is a member of the Corporation, the Executive Committee, and Chair of the Visiting Committee on Brain and Cognitive Sciences.
